Dainty Obsessions

{Real Wedding} Jessica + Cole

When going through all of the amazing images of this real Iowa wedding, our favorite part was how obviously smitten the couple is with one another (who are also high school sweethearts). Look familiar? This Jessica and Cole’s engagement story was featured in our winter 2014 issue.

From the bride …

Cole and I wanted our day to be “different,” but also personal and unique. It was absolutely perfect for us. We had roughly 190 guests of our closest friends and family. The vintage details we incorporated were some of my favorite details of the day. My grandmother gave me her wedding dress and told me to do whatever I wanted with it. We decided to use the lace and wrap my bouquet and my sisters (my maid of honor) bouquet around the stems. We rented a vintage couch that we used for extra seating during the cocktail hour. We had large gold frames that we used to display old photos of Cole and I throughout our lives together and used another frame for guests to hang polaroid photos of themselves as our guest book.

And of course, we had gorgeous chandeliers hanging during the ceremony and the reception. All the details came together so nicely.
