Dainty Obsessions

{Dainty Extra} Learning to Trust My Vendors

This year, I get to be both a vendor AND a May bride. I have spent the past five years perfectly curating the perfect wedding on Pinterest, and that should count for something, right? This will also be my fourth summer photographing weddings. I was pretty certain that planning would be a breeze and that decisions would be a piece of cake (pun intended). I quickly realized once I got engaged that aside from a perfectly planned shot list and expert understanding of how to schedule the day, I had a lot of other decisions to make. My vendors quickly became my best friends as I planned.

While I am doing many things myself for my wedding, the vendors that I am working with have a fabulous amount of knowledge and wisdom. I want things to be perfect for my wedding and my vendors understand that. As you are meeting with and selecting vendors, take your time and ensure that you are investing with professionals that you can trust. Get to know the vendor’s personality, their style, their visions, and opinions of how to make it a perfect day. As a bride you have so many decisions to make, remember that your vendors are professionals and are there to make decision making easier and your dream wedding a reality.

Cheers to your special day!
