Nate manages local Minneapolis concert venue, First Avenue, and they’re both music aficionados (Keri’s a former DJ) with a passion for travel and cocktails. Their wedding at The American Swedish Institute was extra personal. Taking a cue from the venue, Keri used the design house Marimekko as design inspiration. She painstakingly made all of the groomsmen’s ties, pocket squares, and the bridesmaids’ belts and table settings. Their friends Mina and Jake (both local Minneapolis musicians) performed, “Is This Love” and Keri’s stepfather became ordained in the Church of the Latter Day Dude in order to officiate the ceremony. The reception was complete with custom cocktails and DONUTS!! from Glam Doll Donuts. For the dance portion of the evening, Keri and her bridesmaids changed into Nike hi-tops so things could get really serious on the dance floor.
