Dainty Obsessions

{Real Wedding} Jill + Bill

From the Photographer: D. Brey Photography

From wakesurfing and boating, to yoga and biking in the Colorado Mountains; adventure is part of their everyday life. A free spirited couple, Bill and Jill bring so much love and light to everyone around them. Their wedding was nestled in the cozy outdoor Camp Teko, a Jewish boys camp that Bill attended when he was younger. Bill had a vision that was brought to life. Camp Teko experienced it’s first wedding when Bill proposed the idea, an idea they didn’t know they could pull off at first. But everything worked out to a degree of perfection.

As the Jewish ceremony commenced, both Bill and Jill were walked down the isle by their parents as the string quartet played. In true Jewish tradition, Jill circled Bill seven times under the Chuppah before the Rabi began the ceremony. The Jewish ceremony contains many traditions that are rich with symbolism. They were surrounded by 150 of their closest family and friends as they said their vows. The breaking of the glass & a “Mazel tov!” from the guests, sealed the deal. The cocktail hour kicked off the fun evening ahead. Full with fabulous food, dancing & then my favorite… the Hora. The Hora is everything that you would expect it to be, like in the movies.

The romantic outdoors was dressed with vibrant flowers, warm candles and inviting strung cafe lights. Each table contained gorgeous centerpieces, each had their own Bay of Minnetonka so guests could find their seats. It was simply elegant, like Bill and Jill. These two are beautiful people with beautiful souls and their wedding was nothing short of that.
