When this bridal shower was submitted to us, we were blown away by the flower wall and attention to detail. It wasn’t until we read the description that we were even more blown away. Kat of Adore Productions found bride Kaycee on social media, who was feeling down about support and was afraid she wouldn’t get a bridal shower. Collaborating with incredible Minnesota vendors like Kelly Birch Photography, they created her dream shower, with inspiration from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
From Kat… A labor of love, this shower is unique for many reasons. The first being that the bride was discovered by me on social media in a bridal group talking about how she felt like none of bridal party of family even cared that she was getting married. She was one of a slew of brides saying how they felt this way. It made my heart sink that brides would feel like their friends or family could care less if they had a shower to celebrate their achievement of getting married.
As a professional that tries to help whenever I can, I created an event and style shoot all in one to help this bride out. She gave some input, but gave the vendors reign to develop the event in her honor.
The bride expressed her interest in “Beauty and the Beast,” and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to showcase this in a modern and elegant way upon the 25th anniversary of the movie being this year.
